EMU Opportunity

3rd and 4th Floors Putnam Hall

The EMU Opportunity Program (EO) is the university’s college preparation program that is designed to facilitate a smooth transition into university life while allowing each student to develop the academic skills and personal responsibility necessary to ensure success at the university level. After EO students complete the three-week orientation during the summer, they continue to reside in the EMU Opportunity Living-Learning Community (LLC) through the fall and winter semesters of their first year. The EO LLC provides an opportunity for students to live and connect with students who share similar interests, academic and personal goals.
